Snow!

It has been snowing for over a week, and we are covered in a couple of feet of snow. It is so pretty. We have been stuck at home for a few days now, and we are all quite ready to get out.

My sister Charis was here for about a week during the storm, which was fun. Since it wasn't safe to drive either of our cars (hers or mine) we rode SAM and TriMet and went shopping around Gresham and Portland. Fun times! (except the two+ hour ride on the MAX from Portland to Gresham because of frozen switches!)

Yesterday we tried to go sledding with Zac, but he just cried. He didn't like it so much. :-(

Our garage door has been frozen shut, and our driveway covered in a couple feet of snow, so yesterday Jeremy spent over four hours shoveling, and another four hours today! I guess this is when a huge driveway is not so nice! He is quite sore, but we are finally unstuck! Thank you, Jeremy! Today he dug the truck out of the snow, and put chains on. Unfortunately, we don't own chains for the Jetta.
