Resurrection Day / Birthdays....
Today is Resurrection Day of our Lord and Savior. It is also my brother Jacob's 29th Birthday. Tomorrow is my 34th Birthday. For the last 30 years I have had to share my Birthday with my younger brother. At least I had 4 years to myself. :) Here are a few pictures of this nice sunny day.

Lisa turns 30!!!!
This year for Lisa's 30th Birthday which was March 10th She wanted to take our families to OMSI. So that is what we did. OMSI has one of the largest displays of human fetuses open to the public where you can examine the different stages of human fetal development during all nine months of pregnancy. It was great to see where our baby was in the stage of the pregnancy.
A very Funny Friend....
Here is a picture of an old roommate at the Dude Ranch and a best friend, Seth. This Guy is the funnest guy you will ever meet. Visit his Blog site and you will see what we are all laughing about.
He and his wife Trina sold all their belongings and left their comfortable lives here in the States to be Missionaries for Jesus in Burundi Africa. We miss you guys and Love you both.
A shout out to Melissa

We are having a BABY!!!
We are having a BABY in August. Today we went to the Doctors for the first time and they did an ultra sound. It was amazing. Our little Baby was jumping around and moving and turning. You could see its arms and legs and face and fingers. God has truly created a miracle when he creates a Baby. We are 11 and a half weeks along only a lot more to go. Here are the first pictures ever of our Baby.

Snow Cave Trip 2007
Well for this years Snow Cave Trip Jeff and I took my Brother-n-Law Luke on our adventure. We snowshoed North West of Timberline Lodge 1.6 miles or basically left and up to an elevation over 7,000 feet. I don't have any pictures of us building the Snow Cave because the wind was blowing down the mountain at about 60 miles an hour covering us with very small ice crystals every time we came out of our cave. The next morning was a very nice clear day with less wind and I was able to take these pictures.

Friends
We have been so grateful to have the help of friends and family these past couple of weeks. Phil, Jake, Jamey, Seth, Mark, and John G. all helped us put in our front door and our patio French door, both of which were very heavy, and tricky to install. Friends have stopped by to visit and see the house, too. We love giving tours! :-) This week we enjoyed a visit from Tanya, and a visit from Bekah.
Bekah and Lisa, trying to get warm by the fire. Well, one day it WILL be warm!
These pictures were taken about a week ago. We have even more snow now! Will we ever be able to get the roof on?
This picture shows our part of our great room. It is taken from the living room, and you can see the dining room on the left, and the kitchen on the right. The half-wall will be a bar.
Roofing and siding are our next major projects.
Our stair and half-bath. There will be a closet under the stair.
We have had so much rain and snow and freezing temperatures, it is crazy! Well, our house is very clean, I guess. It's been washed thoroughly many times!
Timberline Lodge with Charis
Lisa and her sister Charis at Timberline Lodge during Christmas break. Charis had never been up on the mountain, so we took her up for some fun in the snow and hot chocolate in the lodge.

Friends visit...
Mark and Kimberly came out to see our house today. So did Seth Chase and Tony Whipps but they were a little camera shy and were more focused on summiting Mt. Pietzold and figuring out a new name for the house. These were the three original Dudes at the Dude Ranch where we came up with the name "Dude Ranch" for the last house.
Trusses have arrived...
Well another week has gone by and a little bit more has been built on the house. Friday the trusses were delivered after a huge wind storm that came down the side of Mt. Pietzold on Thursday. Once again the ice and snow came back to our building site making everything just a little white and slick.
This is the view of our bonus room. This room has a look you will not find in any ordinary home. The whole ceiling is one big skylight. We figure this will help us save money on roofing materials and lights. At night we will have the street lights that will shine in to give us light.
North Gresham Choir Sings at Zoo Lights
34 choir kids came with their families, and everyone had a great time.

Walls and first floor
Here in America we like to put walls up on our houses. It's not to keep people out but to give us something to paint. I personally don't like to paint but my brother does work for Miller Paint so we decided to put our walls up just to make sure he will still have a job. If you think about it every one you know that has a wall has paint on it. Even the Caveman painted his walls. But the people that don't have walls they don't paint theirs.
